
Geoffrey Jervis is the Director of the Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains (MESC) within the U.S. Department of Energy. In this role, he directs a significant portfolio of federal investments that address critical vulnerabilities across U.S. energy supply chains and manufacturing. MESC’s projects are designed to unleash economic growth, address national security, and expand our nation’s power supply. Geoff brings over twenty-five years of Wall Street business experience in financial management, organizational design and management, portfolio management, and entrepreneurship. Prior to joining DOE, he was chief financial officer and chief operating officer at iStar, and, prior to iStar, served as chief financial officer of STAG Industrial, Blackstone Real Estate to Debt Strategies, and Capital Trust. Geoff has also served as an Associate Professor of Management at Palm Beach Atlantic University, and, most recently, the co-founder and chief executive officer of Mint Eco Car Wash.
Geoff has a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree from Vanderbilt University.
